Founded in 1995, Arcade Cycles is a French company specialised in designing and assembling city and electrically assisted bicycles for various types of customers: self-service bicycle operators, rental companies, cities and local authorities, and retailers to individuals and companies.
The rapid growth of recent years has led to the progressive saturation of the current production tool. To be able to support the growth of the market and its customers, Arcade Cycles has decided to invest in a new factory.
2.5 times larger than the old one, its production capacity is doubled.
A construction a few hundred meters from the old factory was necessary in order to maintain the know-how, professional conscience and comfort of our team.
From its assembly workshop in La Roche-sur-Yon in Vendée, Arcade Cycles makes a difference through the innovations of its design office.
The development of drawings and 3D plans, the design and assembly of the bikes takes place in La Roche-sur-Yon.

– Planting of 900 linear meters of hedgerows of local species.
– Integrated management of rainwater with the establishment of shelters favorable to amphibians.
– Welcoming small fauna via flower meadows decorated with hotels for pollinating insects.
– Installation of beehives and nesting boxes.
> Consumption of decarbonized energy:
– Roof covered with photovoltaic panels (self-consumption of the energy produced and distribution of the surplus to our neighbors in the activity zone).
– Parking spaces equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Arcade has sold fleets of bicycles to nearly 200 cities in 28 countries – with the capacity to produce small and medium-sized customised series, in very short times. Arcade is a key player in the urban mobility sector and makes a difference thanks to the innovations of its design office.
